Next we headed to Old San Juan. We first went to El Morro, an old fort used to defend Puerto Rico from enemies. It's always so pretty there with all the grass and people out flying their kites. We had a great time climbing in and out of doorways, tiny rooms and looking at the ocean down below. On our way out of the fort, we stopped for our first piragua of the trip, a Puerto Rican snow cone. I had grape for the first time and now grapee is my new favorite flavor! We spent the rest of the afternoon walking in Old San Juan and enjoying some treats from a local bakery. That night we hit OutBack Stakehouse to celebrate Ash and Jas's 5th anniversary. Happy 5th guys!
