Poor Elmo

Bodie just loves listening to the songs on the spanish version of Sesame Street, Plaza Sesamo. So we found the perfect Elmo cake for his little birthday party. We had a great night with Papa, Ma, Ash and Jason. We munched on burgers, salad, salmon, shrimp and other goodies. ( I guess his birthday was more of an excuse for us to get together and eat). When dinner was done we stripped Bodie down to the diaper and put him on the grass. We put his little candle in the cake and sang happy birthday to him. When it was time, we let him crawl over to his cake and do whatever he wanted with it. At first he was a little hesitant and just took a little of the frosting. But as you can see from the pictures, that didn't last long. He dug right in and went to town. I think he ate as much grass as cake and frosting. He ate so much I thought his little tummy would be upset and we'd have to clean up more than just the cake. But luckily, all was well and no upset tummy. Aren't birthdays the greatest!
