Arizona?

Normally I'm a rain lover. Normally I'd love a good wet cleansing for the earth. Normally I'd get excited to snuggle in a quilt and drink hot chocolate even though it's still in the 70's.

But today is the day for Easter Egg hunts, candy, grass and sunshine. I've had visions of my children running across the green fields in their yellow clothing to collect all things good and yummy the bunny left for them. (Ok, maybe not Abby, but we could do the collecting for her).
As I listen to the rain outside on my roof I'm wondering....Do we surrender and stay in our jammies and drink hot chocolate in our quilt? Or do we press forward and dress these children in their yellow clothing and find whatever good, yummy and wet treats we can find out there?

Seriously...can you believe it! I'm thinking we may have to do indoor egg hunts. Happy Easter!

I think you should do both! Snuggle in the morning, hunt for easter eggs in the afternoon. You would have great pictures!

You're so funny! I know of all days to rain! It's not even in the forecast for the next few days. At least tomorrow should rain free!

Its really sad its raining, especially today of all days. Its raining in Utah too. I have been thinking all day long of all the little kids excited to go on Easter Egg hunts but the bad weather ruining it for them.

Well..............I'm waiting. Did you get your umbrellas and go chase the eggs or the quilt and drink hot chocolate. Bob always participates with the Easter egg hunt at his church and they got between the rain and had hordes of people show up.
I think it is so amusing to see all the little girls in frilly, fluffy easter dresses, and little boys in adorable suits for the egg hunts and then you pass the churches and often they are entering in shorts and tee shirts. Did you see how adorable the gg hunters were on the news?

I totally agree we had to move our family picnic that we have had every year at the same park since I was little. We got out there and it was wet and windy and COLD. I'm with you normally I would be clicking my heels to see a little moisture and a cold day, but not so much on Easter Saturday!

Love the daisy. My favorite. And I am just bummed I am stuck indoors and can't enjoy the great weather while it lasts. I however got to spend that morning sitting in the couch wrapped up in my blankie doing what I hate most, reading a book.
