You know those kind of days? The days where the world is just good. The days where you're able to enjoy all the little things in life and just take them all in? The days where you really see the grass and the sky and the sunshine?
Yesterday was one of those days.
Nothing fantastic happened. It was just a beautiful day filled with my little family.
The sun was shining, the grass was green and the air smelled like the grass was freshly cut. It was a perfect 80 degrees and flowers were blooming.
We woke up and made eggs and toast for breakfast. It felt like a Saturday. We opened the windows and doors to let in the fresh air.
I was able to escape for a relaxing massage from Karen at D-Stress zone.
(That hour with Karen was heaven on earth).
I drove home with the windows down and music playing.
I came home to a happy house with a happy husband and happy kids.
Bacho and Bodie ventured out to the front yard and flew their little remote control plane. Bodie cried every time the plane crashed. But man, do those two have a love for each other. It's a tight bond that makes me happy.
We piled in the car and drove to the outdoor mall. We transferred kids from the car to the stroller where they happily sat and enjoyed the people and the sunshine.
We piled back in the car and headed to Costco. What Saturday would be complete without a little trip to Costco? We strolled passed each sample table and had our fill of yummy foods. Bacho purchased his Berry Smoothie that he loves more than most things in life.
We stopped at Bacho's new office. New office=no cleaning service. We're the cleaning service for now. But even the cleaning was no big deal. The cleaning products smelled yummy and clean.
Home again to have showers.
The kids were bathed and put into jammies.
Their little bodies smelled like baby lotion. I couldn't stop smelling them.
The babysitter came and we spent the evening with friends at a party.
We ate outside and it was lovely.
Home again.
Bodie was snug in his bed and Abby was smiling like she was happy to see us.
We fed our baby and put her to sleep.
It was just one of those days!

I love days like that. Our day was a little like that yesterday too. It's so nice when you don't have any obligations or stresses and beautiful weather to enjoy!
