enjoying the journey
Its practically October :) I put my stuff up last week after I went and bought some cute Halloween stuff at Tai Pan. And my sister in law had her stuff up two weeks ago!
Went over to Park City today just for oogling and there were a lot of fun, old, old brightly painted homes with haloween decorations all over the front porches. They fit right in with the autumn colors in those tiny narrow streets. Do it, enjoy it, Bodie will love it.
I put my stuff last week too- go for it! It brings in that Fall feeling I love and couldn't resist it anymore.
I wasn't quite ready for Halloween so I put fall leaf garlands on my front porch, a fall wreath on my door, and scarecrow in my planter. I also put some pumpkin decorations around the house. I'll do Halloween later, but I had to do something to acknowledge the changing seasons. If you want Halloween, I say "Go for it!" You definitely won't be the only one! :)
DO IT!!! It's basically October and who cares what other people say - if it makes you happy, and you're dying to do it - go for it ;)Oh.. by the way - bacon will be an option on the menu for our ward christmas party. I just don't know if I will eat any.
Go for it Staci!!!! There are so many cute Halloween things in the stores right now. Have a blast and take some pics so we can see.
I hope you don't mind me linking to you from cjane, I also hope this is the first time I am contacting you, it is hard to keep track! I am trying to let people know about threads of love, a nie project I am starting, check it out at www.quilt4nie.blogspot.com or on her benefit blog. Thanks! Love, Candice
